Sukta 8.88
न त्वा बृहन्तो अद्रयो वरन्त इन्द्र वीळवः । यद्दित्ससि स्तुवते मावते वसु नकिष्टदा मिनाति ते ॥
ná tvā bṛhántó ádrayo várante indra vīḷávaḥ | yád dítsasi stuváté mā́vate vásu nákiṣ ṭádā mināti te ||
โอ้อินทรา ผู้ทรงฤทธิ์อันต้านทานมิได้! ไม่มีพลังอันสูงตระหง่านใด และไม่มีแรงอันแข็งกร้าวใด จะกั้นท่านได้. ทรัพย์ภายในที่ท่านปรารถนาจะประทานแก่ผู้สรรเสริญ ผู้แสวงหาผู้เปิดรับความเพิ่มพูน—ไม่มีผู้ใดลดทอน; ของประทานของท่านไม่มีผู้ใดทำให้พร่องได้.
