आ नो गोमन्तमश्विना सुवीरं सुरथं रयिम् । वोळ्हमश्वावतीरिषः ॥
Transliteration
ā́ no gómantam aśvinā suvíraṃ suráthaṃ rayím | vóḷham aśvā́vatīr íṣaḥ ||
Translation
โอ อัศวินทั้งสอง ขอจงนำมาสู่เราซึ่ง rayi (ความอุดมบริบูรณ์) อันมีโคเป็นทรัพย์ มีอัศวะเป็นกำลัง มีวีรภาพอันงาม และมีรถศึกอันเคลื่อนไปโดยชอบ—ให้มันถูกหามมาด้วยพลังม้าแห่งแรงเร้าในเราเถิด
