Transliteration

janitā divó janitā pṛthivyā́ḥ píbā sómaṃ mádāya káṃ śatakrato | yáṃ te bhāgám adhārayan víśvāḥ sehānáḥ pṛ́tanā urú jráyaḥ sám apsu-jín marútvān indra sat-pate ||

Translation

ท่านคือผู้ก่อกำเนิดแห่งฟ้า ท่านคือผู้ก่อกำเนิดแห่งแผ่นดิน—โอ้ผู้มีร้อยฤทธิ์ (Śatakratu) จงดื่มโสมะ (Soma) เพื่อความปีติเมามาย. ด้วยส่วนที่จัดไว้แก่ท่าน จงพิชิตศึกทั้งปวง ให้ได้แรงส่งอันกว้างไกล และชัยชนะแม้ในห้วงน้ำลึก; โอ้อินทระ (Indra) เจ้าแห่งสัจจะ (Satpati) ผู้สถิตพร้อมมารุต (Maruts).
