Sukta 7.82
अन्वपां खान्यतृन्तमोजसा सूर्यमैरयतं दिवि प्रभुम् । इन्द्रावरुणा मदे अस्य मायिनोऽपिन्वतमपितः पिन्वतं धियः ॥
ánv apā́ṃ khā́ny atṛntam ójasā sū́ryam airayataṃ diví prábhūm | índrāvaruṇā máde asya māyíno ápīnvatam ápitaḥ pínvataṃ dhíyaḥ ||
ตามรอยทางแห่งสายน้ำ ท่านทั้งสองได้ผ่าร่องทางด้วยฤทธานุภาพ และได้สถาปนาดวงอาทิตย์—แสงผู้เป็นเจ้า—ไว้ในฟ้า โอ อินทราและวรุณะ ในความปีติเร่าร้อน (mada) แห่งผู้ทรงมายา (māyin) นั้น ท่านทั้งสองได้ทำให้แรงบันดาลใจ (dhī) พองเต็มจากห้วงลึกอันเร้นลับ; ขอจงให้ความคิดของเราก็เพิ่มพูนด้วย
