Sukta 7.56
दशस्यन्तो नो मरुतो मृळन्तु वरिवस्यन्तो रोदसी सुमेके । आरे गोहा नृहा वधो वो अस्तु सुम्नेभिरस्मे वसवो नमध्वम् ॥
daśasyánto no marúto mṛḷantu varivasyánto ródasī suméke | āré go-hā́ nṛ-hā́ vadhó vo astu sumnébhiḥ asmē vasavo namadhvam ||
ขอมารุตะ (Maruts) ผู้ประทานเกียรติและขยายหนทางแก่เรา จงเมตตาเรา—ผู้ผ่องงามผู้รับใช้สองโลก (ฟ้าและดิน). ขอผู้ฆ่าแสงและผู้ฆ่าวิญญาณจงอยู่ไกลจากเรา; ด้วยแรงดลใจอันเกื้อกูลของท่าน โอ วาสุ (Vasus) จงโน้มลงมาหาเราเพื่อเกื้อหนุน.
