Sukta 7.27
इन्द्रो राजा जगतश्चर्षणीनामधि क्षमि विषुरूपं यदस्ति । ततो ददाति दाशुषे वसूनि चोदद्राध उपस्तुतश्चिदर्वाक् ॥
índro rājā́ jágataś carṣaṇīnā́m ádhi kṣámi víṣu-rūpaṁ yád ásti | táto dadāti dāśúṣe vásūni códád rā́dha úpa-stutaś cid arvā́k ||
อินทระเป็นราชาแห่งโลกอันเคลื่อนไหวของหมู่ชน; เหนือแผ่นดิน ทรงปกครองสรรพสิ่งที่มีรูปหลากหลาย. จากอำนาจอธิปไตยนั้น พระองค์ประทานทรัพย์ (vasu) แก่ผู้ถวาย (dāśuṣ); แม้ถูกสรรเสริญจากเบื้องล่าง ก็ยังทรงเร่งเร้าให้ทานนั้นมุ่งมาถึงเรา.
