Sukta 7.103
ब्राह्मणासो अतिरात्रे न सोमे सरो न पूर्णमभितो वदन्तः । संवत्सरस्य तदहः परि ष्ठ यन्मण्डूकाः प्रावृषीणं बभूव ॥
brāhmaṇā́so atirātré ná sóme sáro ná pūrṇám abhíto vádantaḥ | saṃvatsarásya tád áhar pári ṣṭha yán maṇḍūkāḥ prāvṛṣī́ṇaṃ babhū́va ||
ดุจพราหมณ์ในพิธีอาติราตระ (Atirātra) ดุจสระที่เต็มเปี่ยม เขาทั้งหลายกล่าวก้องไปโดยรอบ วันนั้นเป็นเครื่องหมายแห่งการผันกลับของปี—เมื่อกบทั้งหลายกลายเป็น “ผู้แห่งฤดูฝน” (prāvṛṣīṇa) พิธีแห่งกาลเวลาก็เปิดขึ้นอีกครั้ง และวาจากลับคืนสู่วงของตน
