आ यः पप्रौ भानुना रोदसी उभे धूमेन धावते दिवि । तिरस्तमो ददृश ऊर्म्यास्वा श्यावास्वरुषो वृषा श्यावा अरुषो वृषा ॥
ā yáḥ papráu bhānúnā ródasī ubhé dhūména dhāvate diví | tirás támo dadṛśa ū́rmyāsv ā́ śyā́vāsv aruṣó vṛ́ṣā ā́ śyā́vā aruṣó vṛ́ṣā ||
ผู้ใดเติมเต็มฟ้าและแผ่นดินทั้งสองด้วยรัศมีของตน ผู้ใดแล่นไปในนภาด้วยควันของตน—ผู้นั้นปรากฏให้เห็นพ้นความมืด ในคลื่นที่พลุ่งพล่าน ในกระแสน้ำอันมืดทึบ โคเพศผู้สีแดงปรากฏ—โคเพศผู้สีแดงท่ามกลางความมืด
