अयं विदच्चित्रदृशीकमर्णः शुक्रसद्मनामुषसामनीके । अयं महान्महता स्कम्भनेनोद्द्यामस्तभ्नाद्वृषभो मरुत्वान् ॥
ayáṃ víd ac citradṛ́śīkam árṇaḥ śukrásadmanām uṣásām ánīke | ayáṃ mahā́n mahatā́ skámbhanenódd yā́m astabhnād vṛṣabhó marútvān ||
ผู้นี้ได้ค้นพบกระแสน้ำหลากอันมีนิมิตหลากหลาย ณ ที่พำนักอันสว่างไสว ต่อหน้าโฉมแห่งอุษัส (Uṣas) เหล่าอรุณรุ่ง ผู้นี้—ผู้ยิ่งใหญ่—ด้วยพลังค้ำยันดุจเสาอันมหึมา ได้ชูฟ้าไว้เบื้องบน—เป็นพฤษภผู้มีมรุต (Marut) เป็นสหาย
