Sukta 6.28
प्रजावतीः सूयवसं रिशन्तीः शुद्धा अपः सुप्रपाणे पिबन्तीः । मा वः स्तेन ईशत माघशंसः परि वो हेती रुद्रस्य वृज्याः ॥
prajā́vatīḥ su-yávasaṃ riśántīḥ śuddhā́ ápaḥ su-prapāṇé píbantīḥ | mā vaḥ stená īśata mā́gha-śaṃsaḥ pári vo hetī́ rudrásya vṛjyāḥ ||
โอเหล่ารัศมี (Rays) ผู้พรั่งพร้อมด้วยวงศ์วาน ผู้เล็มหญ้าอันดี ผู้ดื่มน้ำนั้นอันบริสุทธิ์ ณ ที่ดื่มอันงาม—ขออย่าให้โจรใดมาครอบงำท่านทั้งหลาย ขออย่าให้ผู้กล่าวร้ายมีอำนาจเหนือท่าน. ขอให้ศราวุธของรุทระ (Rudra) รอบท่านทั้งหลายถูกหันเหและขับไล่ไปเสีย.
