प्र च्यवानाज्जुजुरुषो वव्रिमत्कं न मुञ्चथः । युवा यदी कृथः पुनरा काममृण्वे वध्वः ॥

Transliteration

prá cyavānā́j jujurúṣo vavrím atkáṃ ná muñcathaḥ | yúvā yádī kṛtháḥ púnar ā́ kā́mam ṛṇve vádhvaḥ ||

Translation

จากจยวานะ (Cyavāna) ผู้ชราจนสึกกร่อน ท่านทั้งสองมิได้ปลดเปลื้องผิวที่ห่อหุ้มดุจถอดอาภรณ์ หากเมื่อท่านทั้งสองทำให้เขากลับเป็นหนุ่มอีกครั้ง ความปรารถนาของเจ้าสาวก็สำเร็จใหม่อีกครา
