सुप्रतीके वयोवृधा यह्वी ऋतस्य मातरा । दोषामुषासमीमहे ॥
Transliteration
supratī́ke vayovṛ́dhā yahvī́ ṛtásya mā́tarā | doṣā́m uṣásam īmahe ||
Translation
ผู้มีพักตร์งาม ผู้เพิ่มพูนพลังชีวิตแก่เรา—มารดาผู้ยิ่งใหญ่ทั้งสองแห่งฤตะ (Ṛta ระเบียบจักรวาล) คือ ราตรีและอุษา (Uṣas อรุณรุ่ง)—เราทั้งหลายแสวงหาและอัญเชิญให้มาสู่เรา
