Sukta 5.47
तदस्तु मित्रावरुणा तदग्ने शं योरस्मभ्यमिदमस्तु शस्तम् । अशीमहि गाधमुत प्रतिष्ठां नमो दिवे बृहते सादनाय ॥
tád astu mitrā́varuṇā tád agne śáṃ yór asmábhyam idám astu śastám | aśīmáhi gā́dham utá pratíṣṭhāṃ námo divé bṛhaté sā́danāya ||
ขอสิ่งนั้นจงสำเร็จเถิด โอ มิตรและวรุณะ; ขอสิ่งนั้นจงสำเร็จเถิด โอ อัคนี: ขอสิ่งนี้จงเป็นความสงบและความยินดีแก่พวกเรา เป็นสิ่งที่ควรแก่การสรรเสริญโดยแท้. เราปรารถนาฐานอันมั่นคงและทางข้ามอันปลอดภัย; ขอนอบน้อมแด่สวรรค์อันกว้างใหญ่ (ทยาวุส) ที่ประทับอันยิ่งใหญ่แห่งฤตะ—สัจธรรมจักรวาล.
