यो जागार तमृचः कामयन्ते यो जागार तमु सामानि यन्ति । यो जागार तमयं सोम आह तवाहमस्मि सख्ये न्योकाः ॥
Transliteration
yó jāgā́ra tám ṛ́caḥ kāmayante yó jāgā́ra tám u sāmā́ni yanti | yó jāgā́ra tám ayám sóma āha távā́ham asmi sakhyé nyòkāḥ ||
Translation
ผู้ตื่นแล้วนั้น—บทสรรเสริญฤค (Ṛc) ปรารถนาเขา; ผู้ตื่นแล้วนั้น—บทขับสาธมาน (Sāman) มุ่งไปหาเขา ผู้ตื่นแล้วนั้น—โสมะนี้กล่าวถึงเขาว่า ‘ข้าพเจ้าเป็นของท่าน ในมิตรภาพ ข้าพเจ้าอยู่ร่วมกับท่าน’
