Sukta 5.41
तां वो देवाः सुमतिमूर्जयन्तीमिषमश्याम वसवः शसा गोः । सा नः सुदानुर्मृळयन्ती देवी प्रति द्रवन्ती सुविताय गम्याः ॥
tā́ṃ vo devāḥ su-matím ūrjáyantīm íṣam aśyāma vasavaḥ śásā góḥ | sā́ naḥ su-dā́nur mṛḷáyantī devī́ práti drávantī suvitā́ya gamyāḥ ||
ขอให้เราบรรลุซึ่งสุมัติ (sumatí ความดำริอันดี) อันสว่างไสว ซึ่งเพิ่มพูนอูรช์ (ūrj พลังหล่อเลี้ยง) และนำอิษะ (iṣá ความอุดมค้ำจุน) มาให้—โอเทพทั้งหลาย โอวสุ (Vasus) ทั้งหลาย—ด้วยวาจา (śásā) ที่เรียกแสง (goḥ). ขอให้เทวีผู้เอื้อเฟื้อ ผู้ปลอบประโลมและเปี่ยมกรุณา วิ่งมาหาเรา และเป็นผู้เข้าถึงได้ เพื่อสุวิตา (suvitā ทางผ่านอันดี) และความสำเร็จอันชอบธรรมของเรา.
