agné viśvébhir ā́ gahi devébhir havyádātaye | hótāraṃ tvā vṛṇīmahe ||
Translation
โอ้อัคนี ขอจงมาที่นี่พร้อมเหล่าเทวะทั้งปวง เพื่อการถวายและการมอบหัวยะ (havya). เราขอเลือกท่านเป็นโหตฤ (hotṛ) ปุโรหิตผู้ขานเรียก ผู้เชื้อเชิญเหล่าเทวะให้เข้ามาภายในเรา.
