sa nó dhītí váriṣṭhayā śréṣṭhayā ca su-matyā́ | ágne rāyó didīhi naḥ suvṛ́kti-bhir vareṇya ||
Translation
ขอท่าน—อัคนี (Agni)—ด้วยปัญญาอันกว้างไกลที่สุดและประเสริฐที่สุด ด้วยความดำริอันสว่างไสวและเที่ยงธรรม จงทำให้ความมั่งคั่งทั้งหลายส่องประกายแก่เราเถิด; โอ้อัคนี ผู้ควรแก่การเลือกสรร ขอท่านจงทำให้ทรัพย์เหล่านี้ลุกโชติช่วงแก่เราด้วยวาจาสรรเสริญที่ร้อยเรียงดีแล้วของเรา.
