ये अग्ने नेरयन्ति ते वृद्धा उग्रस्य शवसः । अप द्वेषो अप ह्वरोऽन्यव्रतस्य सश्चिरे ॥

yé agne né rayanti te vṛ́ddhā ugrásya śávasaḥ | ápa dvéṣo ápa hváro 'nyavratásya saścire ||

โอ อัคนี ผู้ใดไม่เร่งเร้าให้ท่านก้าวหน้า—ทั้งที่เติบโตขึ้นในพลังแห่งฤทธานุภาพอันดุดันของท่าน—ผู้นั้นย่อมหลุดร่วงไปสู่ความชัง สู่ความคดเคี้ยวและความหลงผิด และไหลไปตามทางของผู้ถือวัตรอื่น (กฎอื่น).
