अग्निं घृतेन वावृधुः स्तोमेभिर्विश्वचर्षणिम् । स्वाधीभिर्वचस्युभिः ॥
Transliteration
agníṃ ghṛténa vāvṛdhuḥ stómebhir viśvá-carṣaṇim | svādhī́bhir vacasyúbhiḥ ||
Translation
เขาทั้งหลายยังอัคนี (Agni) ให้เจริญด้วยฆฤตะ (ghṛta) อันใสกระจ่าง ด้วยบทสรรเสริญ (stoma) แด่ผู้ครอบคลุมชนทั้งปวง; ด้วยปัญญาภายในอันถูกต้อง และด้วยถ้อยคำที่มีพลังแห่งวาจา เขาทั้งหลายทำให้เปลวไฟเข้มแข็งเพื่อการงานอันเป็นสากล.
