Transliteration

abhūd devaḥ savitā vandyo nu na idānīm ahna upa-vācyo nṛbhiḥ | vi yo ratnā bhajati mānavebhyaḥ śreṣṭhaṃ no atra draviṇaṃ yathā dadhat ||

Translation

บัดนี้พระสวิตฤ (Savitṛ) เทพเจ้า ผู้ควรแก่การสรรเสริญของเรา ได้เป็นผู้ที่ควรถูกอัญเชิญในวันนี้โดยกำลังของมนุษย์ทั้งหลาย. พระองค์ผู้ทรงแบ่งปันรัตนะ (ratna) แก่มนุษย์—ขอทรงสถาปนา ณ ที่นี้แก่เรา ซึ่งทรัพย์และพลังอันประเสริฐยิ่งให้เต็มเปี่ยม.
