Sukta 4.40
उत स्य वाजी क्षिपणिं तुरण्यति ग्रीवायां बद्धो अपिकक्ष आसनि । क्रतुं दधिक्रा अनु संतवीत्वत्पथामङ्कांस्यन्वापनीफणत् ॥
utá syá vājī kṣípaṇiṃ turaṇyati grīvā́yāṃ baddhó apikakṣá āsáni | krátuṃ dadhikrā́ ánu saṃtavī́tvat pathā́m aṅkā́ṃsy ánv āpanī́phaṇat ||
ยิ่งกว่านั้น ม้าศึกแห่งความอุดมนี้เร่งรุดด้วยความเร็วที่กระตุ้นขึ้น ผูกไว้ที่คอ แนบยึดที่สีข้างด้วยที่นั่งแห่งอาน ทธีกรา (Dadhikrā) ดำเนินตามเจตจำนง (kratu) ด้วยวินัยอันสมบูรณ์; ตามทางเขางอและเหยียดช่วงเลี้ยว ควบคุมความคดโค้งของหนทาง
