न रेवता पणिना सख्यमिन्द्रोऽसुन्वता सुतपाः सं गृणीते । आस्य वेदः खिदति हन्ति नग्नं वि सुष्वये पक्तये केवलो भूत् ॥

ná revátā paṇínā sakhyám índro ’súnvatā suta-pā́ḥ sáṃ gṛṇīte | ā́sya védaḥ khidáti hánti nagnáṃ ví súsve paktáye kévalo bhūt ||

อินทราไม่ผูกไมตรีกับปณิ (Paṇi) ผู้มั่งคั่ง; ผู้ดื่มโสมย่อมไม่ยินยอมแก่ผู้ไม่คั้น. ญาณของท่านทำให้ความว่างเปล่าอันเปลือยเปล่าระทมและถูกฟาดล้ม; แต่แก่ผู้คั้นอันดี แก่ผู้สุกงอมแล้ว ท่านย่อมปรากฏโดยสิ้นเชิง.
