आ यूथेव क्षुमति पश्वो अख्यद्देवानां यज्जनिमान्त्युग्र । मर्तानां चिदुर्वशीरकृप्रन्वृधे चिदर्य उपरस्यायोः ॥

Transliteration

ā́ yū́theva kṣu-máti paśvó akhyad devā́nāṃ yáj jánimā́nty ùgra | mártānāṃ cid urváśīr akṛpran vṛdhé cid aryá úparasy āyóḥ ||

Translation

ดุจฝูงสัตว์ พลังชีวิตอันอุดมก็ปรากฏ เมื่อกำเนิดอันเกรียงไกรของเหล่าเทพเจ้าเข้าใกล้ แม้เพื่อมนุษย์ผู้มรรตัย อุรวศี (Urvaśī—แรงบันดาลใจอันส่องกว้าง) ก็ถูกสร้างขึ้น; แม้เพื่อความเจริญงอกงาม ผู้สูงศักดิ์ก็ได้ค้นพบพลังชีวิตที่สูงยิ่งกว่า.
