Sukta 4.19
अतृप्णुवन्तं वियतमबुध्यमबुध्यमानं सुषुपाणमिन्द्र । सप्त प्रति प्रवत आशयानमहिं वज्रेण वि रिणा अपर्वन् ॥
átṛpṇuvantaṁ ví-yatam abúdhyam abúdhyamānaṁ su-supā́ṇam indra | saptá práti pra-váta āśáyānam áhiṁ vájreṇa ví riṇāḥ apárvan ||
โอ้พระอินทระ ท่านทรงใช้วัชระ (วชิระ) ฟาดทำลายอหิ—อสรพิษผู้ไม่เคยอิ่ม—ผู้แผ่กายกว้าง มิได้ตื่นรู้ จมอยู่ในนิทราอันมืดทึบ. มันนอนขวางอยู่เหนือเจ็ดลาดชันและสายน้ำ; ท่านทรงฉีกมันออกเป็นส่วน ๆ ด้วยวัชระนั้น ทั้งที่ไร้ข้อปล้อง.
