नाना चक्राते यम्या वपूंषि तयोरन्यद्रोचते कृष्णमन्यत् । श्यावी च यदरुषी च स्वसारौ महद्देवानामसुरत्वमेकम् ॥
nā́nā cakrāte yamyā́ vapū́ṃṣi táyor anyád rócate kṛ́ṣṇam anyát | śyā́vī ca yád áruṣī ca svásārau mahád devānām asura-tvám ékam ||
พี่น้องหญิงผู้ร่วมสายโลหิตสองนางรังสรรค์รูปภาวะ (vapuṃṣi) อันหลากหลาย; ในสองนั้น นางหนึ่งส่องประกาย อีกนางหนึ่งมืดดำ. ผู้มีสีครามหม่นและผู้มีสีแดงเรื่อ—สองพี่น้อง—ประกาศว่า: ในหมู่เทพทั้งหลาย มีเพียงหนึ่งเดียวคืออำนาจอธิปไตยอันไพศาล (asuratva).
