इम इन्द्र भरतस्य पुत्रा अपपित्वं चिकितुर्न प्रपित्वम् । हिन्वन्त्यश्वमरणं न नित्यं ज्यावाजं परि णयन्त्याजौ ॥

Transliteration

imá indra bharatásya putrā́ apapitváṃ cikitúr ná prapitvám | hinvánty aśvám áraṇaṃ ná nítyaṃ jyā́-vājaṃ pári nayanty ājāú ||

Translation

ชนเหล่านี้คือบุตรแห่ง Bharata โอ้ อินทรา เขารู้ศิลป์แห่งการไม่หลุดร่วง มิใช่ศิลป์แห่งความเสื่อมถอย. เขาขับม้าที่ไม่รู้เหนื่อย มิใช่ม้าที่พ่ายแพ้อยู่เนืองนิตย์; ในศึก เขานำพลังแห่งความบริบูรณ์อันแข็งแรงดุจคันธนู เวียนนำไปสู่ชัยชนะ.
