हर्यन्नुषसमर्चयः सूर्यं हर्यन्नरोचयः । विद्वाँश्चिकित्वान्हर्यश्व वर्धस इन्द्र विश्वा अभि श्रियः ॥
háryann uṣásam arcayaḥ sū́ryaṃ háryann arocayaḥ | vidvā́ṃś cikitvā́n haryáśva vardhase índra víśvā abhi śríyaḥ ||
ด้วยความเร่าร้อนสีทอง ท่านสรรเสริญอุษัส (Uṣas) ผู้เป็นรุ่งอรุณ; ด้วยความเร่าร้อนสีทอง ท่านทำให้สุริยะ (Sūrya) ส่องประกาย. ผู้รู้ ผู้หยั่งเห็น โอ้ อินทระผู้มีม้าสีทอง ท่านเจริญงอกงามสู่ศรีทั้งปวง—สู่เดชานุภาพแห่งความสำเร็จอันสว่างไสวทุกประการ.
