त इन्न्वस्य मधुमद्विविप्र इन्द्रस्य शर्धो मरुतो य आसन् । येभिर्वृत्रस्येषितो विवेदामर्मणो मन्यमानस्य मर्म ॥
tá ín nv asya mádhumad vivipra índrasya śárdho marúto yá āsan | yébhir vṛtrásyeṣitó vivédā́marmáṇo mányamānasya márma ||
แท้จริงแล้ว เหล่ามรุตะผู้ดลใจอันหวานดุจน้ำผึ้งนั้น เป็นกองทัพของอินทระ. ด้วยพวกเขา อินทระได้ค้นพบจุดอ่อน—ความลับแห่งชีพจร—ของวฤตระ เมื่อมันถูกเร่งเร้าให้พุ่งไป ทั้งที่ยังสำคัญตนว่าไม่มีผู้ใดแทงทะลุได้.
