दिदृक्षन्त उषसो यामन्नक्तोर्विवस्वत्या महि चित्रमनीकम् । विश्वे जानन्ति महिना यदागादिन्द्रस्य कर्म सुकृता पुरूणि ॥
didṛ́kṣanta uṣáso yā́mann aktór vivásvatyā máhi citrám anī́kam | víśve jānanti mahinā́ yad ā́gād índrasya kárma sukṛ́tā purū́ṇi ||
เพื่อจะได้เห็น เหล่าอุษัส (Uṣas) ในการเดินทางของราตรี เพ่งมองพักตร์อันยิ่งใหญ่และน่าอัศจรรย์ของผู้ส่องสว่าง (Vivasvat) สรรพสิ่งทั้งปวงย่อมรู้ได้ด้วยความยิ่งใหญ่ของเขา เมื่อเขามาถึงแล้ว—คือกิจการอันสำเร็จงดงามมากมายของอินทระ การก่อรูปแห่งชัยชนะในดวงจิต
