ऊर्जो नपातमध्वरे दीदिवांसमुप द्यवि । अग्निमीळे कविक्रतुम् ॥

ūrjó nápātam adhvaré dī́divāṃsam úpa dyávi | agním īḷe kavíkratum ||

ข้าพเจ้าสรรเสริญอัคนี (Agni) ผู้เป็นบุตรแห่งพลังอันอุดม; ผู้ส่องประกายในพิธีบูชา (adhvara) และผุดขึ้นสู่สวรรค์—ผู้ซึ่งเจตจำนงของท่านคือเจตจำนงของฤๅษีผู้เห็นแจ้ง (kavi).
