नि त्वा दधे वरेण्यं दक्षस्येळा सहस्कृत । अग्ने सुदीतिमुशिजम् ॥

ข้าพเจ้าตั้งท่านลง ณ ที่นี้ โอ อัคนี ผู้ควรสรรเสริญ—เป็นแรงดลใจของทักษะ (Dakṣa) หล่อหลอมด้วยพลัง; เป็นเปลวเพลิงสว่างใส เป็นอุศิจ (Uśij) ผู้แสวงหาอย่างกระตือรือร้น ผู้ตรากตรำเพื่อเครื่องบูชา.
