अस्मिन्पदे परमे तस्थिवांसमध्वस्मभिर्विश्वहा दीदिवांसम् । आपो नप्त्रे घृतमन्नं वहन्तीः स्वयमत्कैः परि दीयन्ति यह्वीः ॥
asmín pade paráme tasthivā́ṁsam adhvasmábhir viśváhā dīdivā́ṁsam | ā́po náp tre ghṛtám ánnaṁ váhantīḥ svayám atká iḥ pári dīyanti yahvī́ḥ ||
เขายืนอยู่ ณ ที่ประทับอันสูงสุดนี้ ส่องประกายไม่ขาดสายตลอดหนทางแห่งความเป็นอยู่ของเรา. เหล่าน้ำผู้ทรงพลังนำความอุดมอันใสบริสุทธิ์ดุจฆีเป็นภักษาหารมาถวายแก่ “บุตรแห่งน้ำ” (Apāṃ Napāt); และเหล่าน้ำผู้ไหลบ่ากว้างใหญ่เหล่านั้น ด้วยแรงดลใจของตนเอง เวียนล้อมรอบเขาและมอบตนถวาย.
