Sukta 2.32
अस्य मे द्यावापृथिवी ऋतायतो भूतमवित्री वचसः सिषासतः । ययोरायुः प्रतरं ते इदं पुर उपस्तुते वसूयुर्वां महो दधे ॥
asyá mé dyāvā-pṛthivī ṛtāyató bhūtám avitrī́ vácasaḥ sisāsatáḥ | yayór ā́yuḥ prá-taraṃ té idáṃ púra úpastute vasūyúrvāṃ mahó dadhé ||
เพื่อถ้อยคำนี้ของข้าพเจ้า ขอฟ้ากับแผ่นดิน—ผู้ดำเนินตาม ṛta (ระเบียบอันเที่ยงธรรมแห่งจักรวาล)—จงเป็นผู้คุ้มครอง ปรารถนาจะทำให้วาจานี้มั่นคงเข้มแข็งเถิด. ต่อหน้าทั้งสองนั้น—ผู้ซึ่งอายุชีวิตก้าวหน้าไปก่อน—ข้าพเจ้าวางบทสรรเสริญนี้ไว้ก่อน; ผู้แสวงหาความอุดม ข้าพเจ้าพบความกว้างใหญ่ยิ่งในท่านทั้งสอง.
