Sukta 2.24
यो नन्त्वान्यनमन्न्योजसोतादर्दर्मन्युना शम्बराणि वि । प्राच्यावयदच्युता ब्रह्मणस्पतिरा चाविशद्वसुमन्तं वि पर्वतम् ॥
yó nantvā́ny ánamann y ójasó tā́dardhar manyúnā śámbārāṇi ví | prá acyāvayat ácyutā bráhmaṇas pátir ā́ cā́viśad vásumantaṃ ví párvatam ||
พระองค์ผู้ทรงพลังนั้น ด้วยกำลังของพระองค์ทรงกดให้สิ่งกีดขวางที่ต้านทานยอมจำนน และด้วยฤทธิ์เดชอันเร่าร้อนทรงทำลายป้อมปราการของศัมพร (Śambara) ให้แตกสิ้น. พรหมณัสปติ (Brahmaṇaspati) ทรงทำให้แม้สิ่งที่ไม่อาจสั่นคลอนต้องเอนอ่อน และทรงเข้าไปเปิดภูเขาผู้บรรจุทรัพย์สมบัติออก.
