Sukta 2.20
तमु स्तुष इन्द्रं तं गृणीषे यस्मिन्पुरा वावृधुः शाशदुश्च । स वस्वः कामं पीपरदियानो ब्रह्मण्यतो नूतनस्यायोः ॥
tám u stuṣé índraṃ táṃ gṛṇīṣe yásmin purā́ vāvṛdhúḥ śā́śaduś ca | sá vásvaḥ kā́maṃ pī́parad iyānó brahmaṇyató nū́tanasya ā́yoḥ ||
ข้าพเจ้าสรรเสริญท่าน—อินทรา; ข้าพเจ้าขับสดุดีท่าน—ผู้ซึ่งในท่านนั้น บรรพชนได้เจริญงอกงามและได้ที่พำนักอันมั่นคง. ท่านผู้ยังคงเคลื่อนไป เติมเต็มความปรารถนาแห่ง “ทรัพย์แห่งความเป็นอยู่” แก่ผู้แสวงหา พรหมัน (brahman) แก่อารยะผู้ใหม่อยู่เสมอ
