प्र ते नावं न समने वचस्युवं ब्रह्मणा यामि सवनेषु दाधृषिः । कुविन्नो अस्य वचसो निबोधिषदिन्द्रमुत्सं न वसुनः सिचामहे ॥

Transliteration

prá te nā́vaṃ ná sámane vacasyúvaṃ bráhmaṇā yā́mi sávaneṣu dā́dhṛṣiḥ | kuvín no asyá vácaso nibódhiṣad índram utsáṃ ná vásunaḥ sicāmahe ||

Translation

ข้าพเจ้าไปสู่ท่านดุจเรือเพื่อข้ามฝั่ง นำถ้อยคำที่ใคร่จะเปล่งออก พร้อมพรหมัน (brahman) ในพิธีบีบโสมะทั้งหลาย (savana) โอ้ผู้มั่นคงแน่วแน่ ขอให้ท่านนั้นแลได้สดับรู้ถ้อยคำของเรา; ขอให้เราหลั่งอินทราดุจบ่อน้ำพุแห่งทรัพย์สมบัติ.
