Sukta 2.14
अध्वर्यवो यन्नरः कामयाध्वे श्रुष्टी वहन्तो नशथा तदिन्द्रे । गभस्तिपूतं भरत श्रुतायेन्द्राय सोमं यज्यवो जुहोत ॥
ádhvaryavo yán naraḥ kāmayā́dhve śruṣṭī́ váhanto naśathā tád índre | gábhasti-pūtaṃ bharata śrutā́ya índrāya sómaṃ yajyavo juhota ||
โอ้เหล่าอธวรยุทั้งหลาย เมื่อใดสิ่งใดที่พวกท่าน—โอ้บุรุษ—ปรารถนาและบรรลุได้ แบกหามการคั้นโสมอันเทียมแอกดีแล้ว จงนำสิ่งนั้นไปวางไว้แด่อินทระเถิด จงนำโสมที่ชำระด้วยรัศมีแห่งฝ่ามือมาถวาย เพื่อให้เป็นที่ได้ยินรับรู้; โอ้ผู้ประกอบยัญ จงหลั่งโสมแด่อินทระ—ผู้เป็นที่เลื่องลือว่า “ทรงสดับ” ผู้ตอบรับคำวิงวอน
