प्र तेऽरदद्वरुणो यातवे पथः सिन्धो यद्वाजाँ अभ्यद्रवस्त्वम् । भूम्या अधि प्रवता यासि सानुना यदेषामग्रं जगतामिरज्यसि ॥

Transliteration

prá te ’radad váruṇo yā́tave páthaḥ síndho yád vājā́ṃ abhy-ádravas tvám | bhū́myā ádhi prá-vatā yā́si sā́nunā yád eṣā́m ágraṃ jágatām irajyási ||

Translation

วรุณะได้เปิดทางให้เจ้าเพื่อการไป, โอ้ สินธุ (Sindhu), เมื่อเจ้าพุ่งเข้าหาความอุดมแห่งพลังอันเต็มเปี่ยม. เจ้าดำเนินไปเหนือแผ่นดิน ตามลาดเขาและสันเขา; เมื่อเจ้าเคลื่อนไปอยู่เบื้องหน้าแห่งโลกทั้งหลายที่กำลังเคลื่อน—นำหน้าการรุกคืบของพวกมัน.
