Sukta 10.66
इन्द्रप्रसूता वरुणप्रशिष्टा ये सूर्यस्य ज्योतिषो भागमानशुः । मरुद्गणे वृजने मन्म धीमहि माघोने यज्ञं जनयन्त सूरयः ॥
índra-prasūtā váruṇa-praśiṣṭā yé sū́ryasya jyótiṣo bhāgám ānaśúḥ | marúd-gaṇe vṛjáne mánma dhīmahi mā́ghone yajñáṃ janayanta sū́rayaḥ ||
ด้วยแรงดลใจจากอินทรา ด้วยการชี้นำของวรุณะ—เหล่าผู้ได้ส่วนแห่งแสงสว่างของสุริยะ เราตั้งมั่นความคิดอันเกิดจากแรงบันดาล (มานมัน, manman) ไว้ท่ามกลางหมู่มารุต ในสนามอัดคั้นแห่งการต่อสู้ของชีวิต เหล่าสูริ (ผู้เห็นแจ้ง) ยังให้ยัญญะบังเกิดเพื่อผู้เอื้อเฟื้อ (มาฆวาน, อินทรา) หล่อหลอมเครื่องบูชาภายในให้เติบโตเป็นพลัง
