अयं स यस्य शर्मन्नवोभिरग्नेरेधते जरिताभिष्टौ । ज्येष्ठेभिर्यो भानुभिॠषूणां पर्येति परिवीतो विभावा ॥

ayáṃ sá yásya śármann ávobhir agnér édhaté jaritā́bhiṣṭau | jyéṣṭhebhir yó bhānúbhir ṛṣūṇā́ṃ páryeti párivīto vibhā́vā ||

ผู้นี้แลคือท่านนั้น—ภายใต้ที่พึ่งของท่าน ด้วยพลังคุ้มครองของท่าน ผู้สรรเสริญย่อมเจริญงอกงามในการบูชาที่ปรารถนาแด่อัคนี (Agni). ผู้สว่างไสว ถูกโอบล้อม เคลื่อนไปท่ามกลางฤๅษี (ṛṣi) ทั้งหลายด้วยรัศมีอันเก่าแก่ยิ่ง—ไฟผู้ส่องสว่างทั่วทิศ.
