समिन्द्रेरय गामनड्वाहं य आवहदुशीनराण्या अनः । भरतामप यद्रपो द्यौः पृथिवि क्षमा रपो मो षु ते किं चनाममत् ॥
sám indrēraya gā́m anaḍvā́haṃ yá ā́vahat uśīnarā́ṇyā ánaḥ | bháratām ápa yád rápō dyaúḥ pṛthivi kṣámā rápō mó ṣú te kíṃ canā́mamat ||
โอ้อินทระ จงเร่งให้โคและโคเทียมลากเคลื่อน—ผู้พารถของชาวอุศีนระ (Uśīnaras) มาเถิด ขอให้ฟ้าและแผ่นดินและพลังแห่งพื้นพิภพพาเอาความทุกข์ร้อนทั้งปวงออกไป ขออย่าให้โทษภัยใด ๆ แตะต้องท่านเลย
