Sukta 10.31
आ नो देवानामुप वेतु शंसो विश्वेभिस्तुरैरवसे यजत्रः । तेभिर्वयं सुषखायो भवेम तरन्तो विश्वा दुरिता स्याम ॥
ā́ no devā́nām úpa vetu śáṃso víśvebhis turáir ávase yájatraḥ | tébhir vayáṃ suṣakhā́yo bhavema táranto víśvā duritā́ syāma ||
ขอถ้อยสรรเสริญของเราจงเข้าใกล้เหล่าเทพเพื่อขอความคุ้มครอง—อันควรแก่การบูชา พร้อมด้วยเหล่าผู้รวดเร็วทั้งปวง. ด้วยท่านเหล่านั้น ขอให้เราเป็นสหายอันดี ข้ามพ้นความทุกข์ยากทั้งสิ้นและทางคดเคี้ยวแห่งภาวะได้เถิด.
