अव सृज पुनरग्ने पितृभ्यो यस्त आहुतश्चरति स्वधाभिः । आयुर्वसान उप वेतु शेषः सं गच्छतां तन्वा जातवेदः ॥

Transliteration

áva sṛja púnaḥ agne pitṛ́bhyo yás ta ā́hutaś cárati svadhā́bhiḥ | ā́yur vásāna úpa vetu śéṣaḥ sáṃ gacchatāṃ tanvā́ jā́tavedas ||

Translation

โอ อัคนี (Agni) จงปล่อยเขาอีกครั้ง—ลงไปและก้าวต่อไป—สู่บรรพชนทั้งหลาย (ปิตฤ) ผู้ซึ่งถูกบูชาแด่ท่านและดำเนินอยู่ในพลังแห่งสวธา (svadhā). ขอให้พลังชีวิตที่ยังเหลือเข้ามาใกล้ ราวกับสวมกายอีกครา; ขอให้ความเป็นกายมาประสานกันโดยพร้อมเพรียง โอ ชาตเวทัส (Jātavedas).
