प्रेता जयता नर इन्द्रो वः शर्म यच्छतु । उग्रा वः सन्तु बाहवोऽनाधृष्या यथासथ ॥
Transliteration
prétā́ jáyata nara índro vaḥ śárma yacchatu | ugrā́ vaḥ santu bāhávо’nādhṛ́ṣyā yáthāsatha ||
Translation
จงก้าวหน้าและมีชัยเถิด โอ้บุรุษผู้กล้า; ขอพระอินทราประทานความร่มเย็นอันกว้างใหญ่แห่งการคุ้มครอง (śarman) แก่ท่านทั้งหลาย. ขอให้แขนของท่านดุดันและทรงพลัง มิอาจถูกปราบได้ เพื่อท่านจะยืนมั่นดังที่เป็นอยู่จริง—แน่วแน่และองอาจ.
