Sukta 10.1
अत उ त्वा पितुभृतो जनित्रीरन्नावृधं प्रति चरन्त्यन्नैः । ता ईं प्रत्येषि पुनरन्यरूपा असि त्वं विक्षु मानुषीषु होता ॥
áta u tvā pitú-bhṛ́to jánitrīr annā-vṛ́dhaṁ práti caranty annáiḥ | tā́ īm práty eṣi púnar anyá-rūpā ási tváṁ vikṣú mā́nuṣīṣu hótā ||
ฉะนั้น เหล่ามารดาผู้หล่อเลี้ยง ผู้แบกพลังแห่งการบำรุง ย่อมเคลื่อนมาหาท่านพร้อมด้วยอาหารทั้งหลาย—ท่านผู้เพิ่มพูนด้วยแก่นสารภายใน. ท่านก็กลับไปตอบรับพวกนางอีกครั้ง กลายเป็นรูปใหม่อยู่เสมอ; ในหมู่เผ่าพันธุ์มนุษย์ ท่านคือปุโรหิตผู้เชื้อเชิญ โหตฤ (hotṛ).
