Transliteration
asyá vī́rasya bárhiṣi sutáḥ sómo díviṣṭiṣu | uktháṃ mádaś ca śasyate ||
Translation
บนบัรหิษ (หญ้าศักดิ์สิทธิ์) ของวีรบุรุษผู้นี้ โสมะ (Soma) ที่คั้นแล้วถูกตั้งบูชาไว้ท่ามกลางการต่อสู้ในสวรรค์; บทสรรเสริญ (อุกถะ) และความปีติเมามาย (มทะ) ถูกประกาศขับร้อง
