Sukta 1.71
दधन्नृतं धनयन्नस्य धीतिमादिदर्यो दिधिष्वो विभृत्राः । अतृष्यन्तीरपसो यन्त्यच्छा देवाञ्जन्म प्रयसा वर्धयन्तीः ॥
dádhann ṛtáṃ dhánayann asya dhītím ā́d íd aryó didhiṣvó víbhṛtrāḥ | átṛṣyantīr apáso yánty ácchā devā́n jánma práyasā vardháyantīḥ
เขาตั้งมั่น ṛta (ระเบียบจักรวาล–สัจจะ) และเพิ่มพูนความดำริ (dhīti) ของเขา; ผู้สูงศักดิ์ (ārya) ผู้ใคร่จะสถาปนา ย่อมแบกไว้ซึ่งฐานค้ำจุนอันมาก. กิจการทั้งหลาย (apasaḥ) อันไม่รู้เหน็ดเหนื่อย เคลื่อนไปตรงสู่เหล่าเทพ และด้วยแรงผลักแห่งการบูชา (prayasa) ย่อมหล่อเลี้ยงการบังเกิดแห่งฤทธานุภาพทิพย์.
