उशिक्पावको वसुर्मानुषेषु वरेण्यो होताधायि विक्षु । दमूना गृहपतिर्दम आँ अग्निर्भुवद्रयिपती रयीणाम् ॥
uśík-pāvako vásur mā́nuṣeṣu váreṇyo hótādhāyi vikṣú | damū́nā gṛhápatiḥ dáma ā́ agnír bhúvad rayipátī rayīṇā́m ||
เปลวไฟอันเร่าร้อน ผู้ถูกชำระให้บริสุทธิ์และส่องสว่าง เป็นทรัพย์แท้ท่ามกลางมนุษย์; เป็นโหตฤ (Hotar) ผู้ควรเลือกสรร ถูกสถาปนาไว้ในหมู่ตระกูล. ในฐานะผู้อาศัยในเรือน เจ้าแห่งเรือน อัคนี (Agni) เข้าสู่ความตั้งมั่นแห่งเราของเรา และเป็นเจ้าแห่งความอุดม (rayi) ทั้งหลาย เป็นผู้พิทักษ์ทรัพย์ภายในทั้งปวง.
