विश्वमस्या नानाम चक्षसे जगज्ज्योतिष्कृणोति सूनरी । अप द्वेषो मघोनी दुहिता दिव उषा उच्छदप स्रिधः ॥
víśvam asyā nanāma cákṣase jágaj jyótiṣkṛṇoti sū́narī | ápa dvéṣo maghónī duhitā́ divá uṣā́ ucchád ápa srídhaḥ ||
โลกทั้งปวงน้อมตามการแลเห็นของนาง; อุษา (Uṣā, เทวีรุ่งอรุณ) ผู้ชำนาญทำสรรพสิ่งที่เคลื่อนไหวให้เป็นกิจแห่งแสงสว่าง. ธิดาแห่งสวรรค์ผู้เอื้อเฟื้อผุดขึ้น ขับไล่ความชัง และกองกำลังศัตรูอันคดเคี้ยวพร้อมอุปสรรคให้พ้นจากหนทางของเรา.
