Sukta 1.44
जुष्टो हि दूतो असि हव्यवाहनोऽग्ने रथीरध्वराणाम् । सजूरश्विभ्यामुषसा सुवीर्यमस्मे धेहि श्रवो बृहत् ॥
júṣṭo hí dūtó ási havyavā́hano 'gné rathī́r adhvarā́ṇām | sajū́r aśvíbhyām uṣásā suvī́ryam asmḗ dhēhi śrávo bṛhát ||
เพราะท่านคือทูตผู้เป็นที่ยอมรับแท้จริง อัคนีเอ๋ย ผู้ขนพาหะเครื่องบูชา และเป็นสารถีแห่งการเดินทางของพิธีบูชา ด้วยความพร้อมเพรียงกับอัศวินทั้งสองและอุษา โปรดสถาปนาในเราซึ่งพลังวีรบุรุษแห่งวงศ์ดี และเกียรติยศอันใหญ่หลวงที่ยกจิตวิญญาณให้สูงขึ้น.
